It was demolished and re-built in 1951 as the Festive Britain.  The new building was given the address 55 Chrisp Street.  The construction of this replacement pub formed part of the 'Live Architecture' exhibition of the Festival of Britain.  It has since been renamed Callaghans, the name currently in use. **
