Bell, Grove Street, Wantage, Berkshire

Known as the Kings Head & Bell 1863-1868. According to a local historian, Bill Fuller: the building was originally thatched and in 1738 was known as the Bell Ale house, later in 1884 known as the King's head and Bell. By 1917 Frederick Busby was the landlord. His son Edward appeared to have continued the business until about 1961. *
