Mitre, Bridge Street, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

According to an information board at the pub, the Mitre was built on the site of two former pubs in around 1878. The forerunners were the Blackmoor’s Head (which had closed in 1856) and the Cock & Magpie. At 17 & 18 Bridge Street in 1881` census. **
