HORSMONDEN is a parish and village, five miles S.W. of Marden station, 54 from London, three N.E. from Lamberhurst, and 10 from Tunbridge Wells, in Brenchley hundred. The church of St. Margaret is a very handsome building, and has a tower and six bells. The living is a rectory; the Rev. William M. S. Marriott is the incumbent. The population in 1851 was 1,226,
