WESTERHAM is a small, but a pleasant town, five miles and three quarters north from Edenbridge, and six and a half west of Sevenoaks. The population in 1851 was 2,113. The church, dedicated to St. Mary, is a large and handsome building. The living is a vicarage, with Edenbridge annexed; patron and incumbent, the Rev. Richard Board, B.L., and the Eev. H. C. Bartlett, M.A., is curate.
Crockham Hill, or Cockham, is a hamlet in the parish of Westerham, two miles from the town. The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The living is a perpetual curacy, with a glebe house, in the gift of Charles Warde, Esq.
