WOOTON or WOOTTON is a parish eight miles north of Folkestone, and eight N.W. of Dover, St. Augustine lathe. East Kent. The church is a small
building. The living is a rectory. The Rev Arthur B. Mesham, M.A. is the incumbent.
The population in 1851 was 153. Yeding is one mile east.

Letters received through Canterbury. The nearest Money Order Offices are at
Dover and Folkestone.
