This pub was established by 1528 as the Fleur de Luces, becoming the Marquis of Granby by 1775. In 1806 it was renamed the Lord Nelson. The pub was rebuilt in its present form in around 1876 and it closed in 1983. The premises are now used as a fast food outlet. **
