LOWER HALSTOW is a village and parish, four miles and a half N.W. of
Sittingbourne, and seven miles and a half east of Chatham. The population in
1851 was 344.
The church is small and ancient. The living is a vicarage, in the incumbency of
the Rev. Frederick Rouchr.
