Love Lane Hotel, Love Lane, Margate

The Love Lane Hotel was built in 1847. In 1881 listed as the Love Lane Brewery, and in 1901 listed as  Ye Olde Brewery, Love Lane. It is now converted into a private house.
The last pint was pulled on Tuesday 5th September 1972 by the then landlord Albert George Withers. Mr Withers, who had run the pub for 11 years, previously running the White Horse in Minster, helped workmen board up the pub the next day. ***
