RIVERHEAD is a parish and village, one mile and a half north from Sevenoaks,
where the two roads from London and Westerham meet. The population in 1851 was
1,728. The church is a chapel of ease to Sevenoaks, and is a perpetual curacy,
in the gift of the vicar of Sevenoaks,
