My Great Grandfather, Frederick William Godfrey Harland, was the landlord of the Watermans Arms at 13 Union Street, Bluetown and then the Duke of Clarence at High Street, Bluetown. He was the landlord after Albert Pilcher and was there from 1903 ( my Grandfather, also Frederick was born in the Watermans in 1903) until 1911. In 1912 his brother Charles Harland took over and Fred moved to the Duke of Clarence. *
