I assume that they took over the “Lady Coborn” (740 Old Ford Road, Bow E3)
in the 1928 but I do not have the transfer deed. I do however have them
leaving the Lady Coburn on the 24th May 1934. They then moved to the “Duke
of Edinburgh” 73, Devons Road Bow E3 on 7th June 1934 where they stayed
until the pub was demolished by a bomb during the war. Mary Esther Davis was
a Taylor Walker Ladies Darts champion. The previous incumbent was a Mr Henry
Charles Robson. *
