Messrs Barton and Son will sell by Auction, at Garraways Coffee house, Change alley, Cornhill, on Monday, Nov 13 at 12 o'clock the Lease of the Rose of Denmark, at the corner of Camden Grove North, near the Rosemary Branch, Peckham, Surrey. The premises are very convenient, in the centre of a large and increasing neighbourhood, with every prospect of a spirit licence being obtained. May be viewed, and particulars held at Garraways, and of the Auctioneers, Westminster Bridge road.

Frederick hart was born and lived in Leather Lane, Great Yeldham, Essex. He ran the pubs 'Masons Arms' Old Kent Road, the Two Brewers East Street Walworth and 'The Rose of Denmark' Camden Grove North, Peckham which is where his 3 children were all born. (possibly also The Three Tuns') He was also a 'bare fist fighter' according to his grandson Jack Philp known professionally as 'Pat Daly'. He lived in his retirement in a 'Licensed Victuallers Association' Home. *
