In 1911 Matilda Mary BULLEN, the wife of James Robert Bullen (previously at  the St Pauls Tavern) was running the Rose at 78 Edmund Street, Camberwell along with her son, also James Robert BULLEN (1888 - 1976), who was the barman & licensed victualler. I have since found him at the Britannia, 94 Ironmonger Row, St Luke in 1915. He had moved to Winchester, Hampshire by 1917 and remained there, presumably still in the pub business. *
