This picture is outside the Coach & Horses, Clapham - Sidney Frank Ireland & his wife Alice (nee Linford) are standing in the doorway. Note NUVW on window - National Union of Vehicle Workers. They took over around 1913 from the London Carman's Union. LCU men drove heavy horse drawn vehicles collecting goods from the docks Probably either during the WW1 or just after (see army men looking dejected).

The Charabanc picture - Sidney Frank Ireland is seated second left in the front with a white panama hat on. The small boy at the rear of the charabanc is my friend's father Reginald Ernest Ireland. Reginald Ireland became the inventor and MD for Codar electronic - short wave radios for amateurs (No longer produced but still in demand on E Bay etc)
