Originally the address was at 146 St John Street Road. Between 1862 and 1869 it became No. 59 St John St Road through road renumbering. At all times near to the Whiskin Street junction.
The Corner Pin is named in the 1901 census. The address changes again by 1910 to the current address when St John Street Road became an extension of St John Street. *
