On the 1881 census, my ancestors, Henry, Frederick and Richard Hall were at the Admiral Keppel, Hoxton Street,  Shoreditch. Henry Hall died in 1890 and according to the National Probate Calendar, he was a Licensed Victualler at the Askew Arms, Uxbridge Road, Hammersmith at the time of his death. His brother Frederick Hall was a Licensed Victualler at "The Cock" Tavern on Holloway Road in 1890. I know these are my ancestors because the names of the children and widow, Emma Hall, are the same names that were listed on the 1881 and 1891 census'. ***
