This pub was rebuilt in around 1900 and is also known as ‘Crocker’s Folly’ after early landlord Frank Crocker. It is a Grade II* building, but closed on 14 March 2004 and has an uncertain future. ** Known as the Crockers Folly when it closed in 2004. ***
