Robert Page has left his work as keeper of Parkhurst Forest in the Isle of
Wight and is a licensed victualler at the Coach and Horses pub, 199 Shadwell
High Street, Tower Hamlets in 1861. His son Nicholas Robert later becomes a
licensed victualler in a pub in Islington, and his other son Edward Robert
continues to run the Coach in Horses in Shadwell; then his grandson Edward
Anthony. By 1871 Robert Page is back in the Isle of Wight but Henry Page &
Son are running the pub in 1891 and 1895. By 1910 Edward Henry Page & Son
are running the pub. They continue to run this pub one way or another right
up until 1930, nearly 70 years in total. *
