Southwark St John index
Possibly known as the Hop Pole. Built in 1881 and now an office known as Britannia House. The name can still be seen in stone mezzo-rilievo along the Tooley Street and Shand Street façades; a horizontal line of 23 ceramic oval cabachon red white and blue Union Flags can be seen below the Tooley Street parapet. ***
