St Dunstan in West Index
This pub was established in around
1605 and rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1666. In 1700 it was acquired by
Dublin Brewer S. G. Mooney and in 1769 it became the first pub outside of
Ireland to sell Guinness. It was rebuilt in its present form in around 1895.
The name was changed to the Irish House in around 1918, becoming the
Tipperary (the name still in use) some time after 1950. ***
