It is the premises with H. Harris's sign above it. This pub seems to have been patronised mainly by English dock-workers. It is mentioned by Sgt. Leeson, in his autobiography entitled "Lost London" written in the 1920s. There is also an account of a visit to this pub in "The Metropolitan" magazine, for 14th. September, 1872. In 1839 listed as 182 Ratcliff Highway, before renaming to St George Street
