Swan Inn, Holborn Bridge, St Sepulchre

This major coaching inn was present by 1698 and in the earlier years was called the White Swan. It survived until at least 1839, but is now long-since demolished. The address also given as Snow Hill. There is a Swan, later the White Swan at 52 Skinner Street. Parts of Skinner Street was originally Snow Hill. The Swan Inn, is historically listed as being north out of Snowhill at Fleet Market (1799). **
