Originally at 76 Vauxhall Bridge Road.
The 1851 and 1861 Censuses give the address as 76 Admiral Terrace -
according to Stanford’s map of 1862 this was the section of houses on the
south side of Vauxhall Bridge Road between Bloomburg Street and Dorset
Street. *
This pub was first licensed in around
1830 and was rebuilt in its present form at the foot of a residential block
in 1969 **
