A listing of historical public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in Middlesex. The Middlesex listing uses information from census, Trade Directories and History to add licensees, bar staff, Lodgers and Visitors.
The following entries are in this format:
Year/Publican or other Resident/Relationship to Head and or Occupation/Age/Where Born/Source.
My great great grandparents (Lewis and Selina Smith) were the licensees of a
pub called the Prince of Wales in Acton. The 1881 census shows then
residing in the hotel, and its address was 137-139 Acton Lane, Middlesex
(1901 census).
My grandmother (Selina Smith) was still the beer retailer at that address in
the 1901 census. ***
