The following entries are in this format:
Year/Publican or other Resident/Relationship to Head and or Occupation/Age/Where Born/Source.
My ancestor Robert James Acton seemed to have owned it from the 1841 census
- 1871 census. He is listed as a victualler, builder and bricklayer. He
seems to have also been a constable in the "village" of Acton and latterly
the Church Warden and appeared at a House of Commons enquiry into the
setting up of a national police force - having taking it upon himself to set
up a small private force for their own town which had proved very
successful. ***
