Brewery Shades, 12 &13 Black Lion Street, Brighton

Much of this street has been redeveloped over time; and now the Black Lion exists at 14 Black Lion Street. (There was a Black Lion at 37 Black Lion Street according to the 1854 directory listing). The brewery has always been next door to the Cricketers through the census - although #14 has often been vacant, and I believe this is is probably where the Black Lion now exists, it was rebuilt in the 1970's.
