My great grandmother was running the pub at 34 Kemp Street with her new (third
husband ) in 1894 ( see attached marriage certificate). Just as an aside, she
puts her age as 'around 40' on the certificate. She was in fact aged 53, married
to a man of 24. Not bad for third time round. ***

Photographer) of 34 Kemp Street marries Mary Tidy, about 40 years, Hotel Keeper
and Widow, of 34 Kemp Street (daughter of John Allis Pace, Hotel Keeper) ***
There is an John Allis Pace at the Kings Head, Hastings in 1858,
